- Woah, why is Baekhyun so good on The Great Escape? Honestly, I was worried that Yoo Byung Jae would be the only ‘brain’ in the team, but he is insane.

- They called him (Baekhyun) the ‘new brain’ on The Great Escape. He’s seriously so good.

- Baekhyun's insanely good LOL They surely call him the ‘new brain’ for a reason.

- I watched it at the theater, and Baekhyun's quick thinking really stood out.

- I watched it in the theater too. Baekhyun's really sharp-eyed. Also, he doesn’t try to avoid anything, which makes him even more likable.

- I just started watching. Did Baekhyun do well?

- I felt bit bored because the variety show elements are cut back on, but I personally prefer this season. I didn’t really like how in the previous seasons where the members kept forcing each other to do things they didn’t want to. I also like the way they skipped the usual opening segment.

- People were hating on the show even before it aired, so honestly, this is pretty decent. We’ll see how it goes once more episodes drop.

- I also checked other places, and the feedback there was pretty positive as well. So for now, I’d say they handled it decently. Before it even started, people were basically wishing it would fail.

- From what I’m seeing, it seems the positive reactions are way more dominant. And after the new members were revealed, people were bashing them for like 7 months. But honestly, those people will find something to hate no matter what. I checked out other places too and most of the reactions were positive.

- It definitely feels like they focused more on the storyline this season, cutting out a lot of the variety show elements... It’s not bad as it is now, but I kinda miss the old vibe. I think I’ll grow to like it once I get used to it.

[+602] Personally I don't think the real value of vocalists is about high notes. Instead it should be when they can stabily show their vocalization and singing ability in low notes. It is when they really shines. There are not many vocalists like that recently. Baekhyun not only stands out at high notes, but also very stable in low notes.  It's good.

- Baekhyun’s voice color is honestly unreal. Baekhyun’s voice is neither too bold nor too plain. It’s just uniquely so Baekhyun. Maybe that’s why he sounds great no matter the genre. Some singers with distinct tones can sound impressive at first, but getting tired over time. I could listen to Baekhyun singing alone for 3 minutes straight and never get tired. That’s honestly his huge charm.

I listened through his 1st to the 4th album, and based on the Highlight Medleys, I definitely feel like the 5th album is the best.

1st album: Psycho felt out of place.

2nd album: masterpiece, perfect

3rd album: great b-sides, but 'Bambi' wasn’t my style

4th album: not bad, but there isn't any song I found myself coming back to listen often.

5th album: based on the highlight medley, it is top-tier well-made album.

- Baekhyun's new songs, title track, 'Rendez-Vous' and 'Truth Be Told' are fcking good. I'm still not sure about the rest, I need to hear them more.

- Baekhyun's new album is fcking good. Just after 2 listens and it's on my playlist now. I like 'Truth Be Told' and 'Cold Heart' the most, but the title track and 'Rendez-Vous' come across my mind the most.

- Baekhyun's songs are so good. They are my style. I listened to the whole album and I like the title track the most. But it seems it's not general public friendly at all. I personally like songs that are not popular to the general public. I liked 'R U Ridin' in his Candy album.

- Baekhyun's 'Cold Heart' is fcking fcking good. It's like movie OST.. It would drive me crazy if it's BGM of scene with male and female characters.

- How can Baekhyun's 'Woo' sound so good? I like the part ~something different~ so much, his pronunciation at that part is so good.

Daum: I prefer Baekhyun's new album to his 3rd album

OP: Not really a fan because I just like his voice color so much that I listen to his songs. For the 3rd album, the vibe of "I'm good at singing, right?" is strong. I like 'Love Scene' out of the album. For this new album, when I listen to it for the first time, I was like "why there is no good songs?", but after several listens, I really like 'Pineapple Slice', 'Cold Heart' and 'Truth Be Told'. Also the 2nd album was so good to the extent I was truly amazed. This new album has trendy vibe...? FYI my most favourite Baekhyun's songs are 'Underwater' and 'Young'.

- Oh I feel the same. The new album is really trendy.

- I really like 'Young' too. Still, this new album is fcking good.

- I feel like he is being more relaxed (in terms of vocals) and I like it.

- 'Love Scene', 'Cry For Love' and 'Privacy' in the 3rd album were all fcking good though.

[Daum] Baekhyun album reviews (part 4)

- You need to listen to Baekhyun's 'Pineapple Slice' several times. It's good. 

- For real, (title track) sounds so-so at first, but it gets better after few listens. 

- Baekhyun's songs are good. I keep replaying 'Pineapple Slice' since yesterday.

- Baekhyun's 'Pineapple Slice' sounds fcking so-so at my first listen and I thought I couldn't feel it. But, when I suddenly listened to it again, it's so good.

- 'Pineapple Slice', the more you listen to it, the better is it, seriously.

- Baekhyun's 'Rendez-Vous' is good. His only song I like since 'UN Villages '. It's fcking good.

[Daum] Baekhyun album reviews (part 3)

- Looking at Baekhyun, I think MV quality is really important. When I first listened to his new title track, I felt like it was okay. But when I watched the MV along, I got hooked on the song that I keep replaying it. I personally think this is his best title tracks so far.

- Baekhyun's song is so good. The title track sounds so-so at first listen, but it gets better after the 2nd listen. I like all b-sides except 'Woo'.

- Baekhyun's new album is so good. 'Good Morning' is my type. I want to hear it live.

- The quality is all good, just different in taste. Anyway, all of his albums are my type. Aside from the title track, I always like about 2 b-sides. This time is the same. 1st album: 'Stay Up' & 'Betcha'; 2nd album: 'Bungee' & 'Love Again'; 3rd album: 'Love Scene' & 'Privacy'; 4th album: 'Rendez-Vous' & 'Good Morning'.

[Daum] Baekhyun's album reviews (part 2)

Daum: Many people are talking about Baekhyun (album ranking), I'm going to try too

OP: For song quality, almost all his songs are good, so it depends on personal taste.

In general, Baekhyun's concept is always good. I like that.

1st album: city, light, day and night

2nd album: bitter-sweet love story

3rd album: peak of R&B, feel like he's winning a competition with his voice

4th album: movie vibe? From 'Good Morning', it's like a plot structure from start to end. Compared to previous albums, I feel like there is also greater diversity in sound and genre.

- I feel the same.

- It's insane how his albums are all R&B but they bring different vibes. The consistency in concept is good too.

- The plot structure vibe in the 4th album is really strong.

- I believe 100% that his next album will have a different concept too. First of all, song quality is all good. There is no bad songs at all.

Daum: Let me review Baekhyun too

First of all, I'm a listener that even attended his concert. There are many songs I didn't know, I decided to go to his concert because of 2 songs 'Garden In The Air' and 'Amusement Park'. Since I cried when I listened to 'Garden In The Air'... Guys, if you are reading this, you should give 'Garden In The Air' a listen. 

Anyway, before going to the concert, I listened to all his albums and after the concert, I told myself that I have to look forward to his 4th album.  My ranking is 2>3>4>>1.

1st album is like an album in the process of identifying himself. 'UN Village' and 'Diamond' are my favourites.

2nd album, I have nothing else to say. It's the masterpiece, the best among albums I have ever listened.

3rd album a great masterpiece which I think it should be more popular as it deserves. The concept is good, but 'Bambi' is quite deep as title track to listen. It's not general public friendly, but the b-sides are equally good as the 2nd album.

4th album, I heard 'Rendez-Vous' at the concert and it was so good that I got goosebumps... 'Good Morning', all songs are good but I feel he tried something new? Personally, it’s not to my liking a bit. But, if only talking about title track, I like the latest title track the most. The melody is catchy and I can keep listening to this song only.

- I also like the new title track just by its 'completeness/perfection'. If talking about entire album, then I wish the 2nd album was a full album.

- Baekhyun's albums have diverse tastes, but there's no doubt that all 4 albums are high quality.

- Same as me. I think the 3rd album is good, following the 2nd album. All the b-sides are good and I like 'Good Morning'.

- Honestly all have high quality, it's just people have different tastes. I like the new title track the most too.

- The 3rd album is such a masterpiece, isn't it? I like it too.

- The 3rd album is not really my type, but it was fun to listen to it because there are many insane songs where he shows off his vocal capabilities properly before enlisting.

OP: In general I comfortably enjoy listening to 2nd and 4th albums. 

I know his vocal is fcking awesome in the 3rd album, but when I listen to it, it brings the heavy mood to my ears since I feel like I have to focus on it.

For 1st album, 'Psycho' messed up the entire concept.

Honestly, all of his songs have equal quality.
