Father had a dream where he was washing a white piglet with his own hands.
Mother had a dream of a flower snake wrapping around her legs. She said she wanted to eat strawberries a lot during her pregnancy.
And a boy of that birth-dream was born on May 6, 1992, in Bucheon on a warm spring day.
They planned to name him Baekho, but then changed to "Hyun (benevolent)" with the meaning of "living benevolently"
He was a kid that had a lot of aegyos, was indulged a lot (by his parents), was raised kindly, and was well-cared for.
And that kid, who was growing up and became an elementary school student, was a very popular kid to the extent that there was a close match in the class popularity poll between him and a friend called Hakhoon. When they were playing hide-and-seek in the playground, they didn't like that kid to be a tagger. The reason is because he peaked while catching hide person.
At his middle school's bazaar, his friends' items weren't selling well, so he sold all of his friends' items with the promise of distributing his phone number.
The kid who then became a high school student and was still very popular.
He randomly high-fived every kids in school and there were quite many girls belatedly had a crush on that kid.
He showed his 3 fingers to a friend who had bad eyesight to let her know the time. He was going around, playing ocarina, looking for a female classmate who was pissed and left the classroom, shouting "I'm looking for XX." He was that good friend to everyone in these cute anecdotes.
He must have been a kid who was very playful and full of bright energy.
Because he liked singing, he sang at festival, and he was a vocalist of his school band, and because he had learned hapkido since he was a kid, he was called Master-nim and he taught Hapkido to elementary school students.
He had spent his perfect 10s well.
He remains in the memories of many students as a friend that was very popular and brightened up his friends' days.
A dream of being a singer appeared to that kid. However, he repeatedly failed auditions and the kid at the end of his teenage years had no choice. Now he had to give up and prepare for the college entrance exam.
He was just warming up his throat in front of the school to prepare for the entrance exam, but he got cast on the street. It was also a very big company, so he suspected it at first. He wondered if it was a scam. It turned out to be an opportunity given by God.
On the first day of joining the company, everything was confusing.
It was a mess because he had never learned to dance, but he liked to make people laugh with his own sloppy dance and his unique bright energy.
Even after becoming a trainee, he was a kid that was popular to other trainee friends. The kind of person who was the mood maker everywhere he was.
But he was blocked by the wall of reality in front of him.
Everyone were so much better than he was.
The kid, who dived into his dream of becoming a singer a little late than others, said, "Life is only a path full of efforts."
While practicing singing, he had to change his singing style. In vocal training room number 3 and 4, he still stayed there himself crying because he couldn't catch up as he was sloppy, clumsy, and tired.
In the end, he succeeded in debuting.
However, due to the short training period, he promised himself that he couldn't cry because there were members who had gone through hardship longer than he had.
In less than 2 years, many people got to know his name and he became extremely popular.
That year, they even won the Daesang 'Album of the Year' award.

He lost confidence in his main talent which is vocal skill.
One day, someone gifted him a fearless bracelet imprinted the word "fearless"

In 2014, he became the target of mockery and insult.
When he had activities, he had been asked personal and rude questions and pretended not to know when he was told to leave the group to his face.
There were people who tried to throw eggs at him and everyone turned their backs on him.
He was crying during the stage.
He broke his self promise not to cry for the first time.In 2015, he broke his promise for the second time when they first released a fan song filled with sorry to fans. He burst out crying to the point where he couldn't control himself. He couldn't help but cry like a child because of the mixed and complicated emotions that were like whether he should be glad or sorry.
After that day, we can only see him holding back his tears. We could no longer see him crying so much that he couldn't control himself.
He lost his bracelet. It was a fearless bracelet, but he lost it. The amulet was gone.
But he didn't buy a new one.
He got over his fear and overcame his slump.
It was the moment when his new identity was set from taking away the fear — 'fearless', to becoming brave and humble — "Be Brave, Be Humble"
No one can deny that he experienced a scary moment in which everyone turned their backs on him at one moment and that he made a lot of efforts to get and put it back as it is now.
As he had experienced such a terrible moment, he has to be a person who bravely stepped up and said no to things that are not true.
He has become a firm talker, and he had gotten more humble so that he would not cross the line that he set on his own.
He never gave them a chance to make him feel uneasy again for the second time.
He cut the bud off even before they came out.
But there are still some people taking him as a target for them to kill time and bash him for no reason at all.
But he matured to be a completely different person.
He didn't get angry.
He didn't even revenge.
"You don't have to press the delete button because you might think that would hurt me. I don't get hurt by that. Those people will like me if I'm nice to them anyway."
"I’m not the kind who loses confidence just because someone said so."
"I try to get better by reading hateful comments and finding out what I'm lacking."
Now he has really lost his fear, overcome everything and become a solid person.
Even if he is hurt and attacked, he thinks positively and tries to find his own problems and develop more.

He is a person who lives up to his name.
He has grown up toward the good side.
He said he is still lacking and live on the path that full of only efforts to improve himself.
In the past, Baekhyun's mom once asked him what he wanted to be when he grew up.
"I don't think I'm going to do a job that I have to sit down." Maybe he already knew his future? God gave Baekhyun a lot of opportunities.
But rather than being a lucky person,
I guess he is the person who doesn't miss opportunity.
I have liked this person and learned so much from him during 9 years.
He is a person whom I have so many things to learn from.
I think I can even support Byun Baekhyun of his 30s.
Someone said they wondered how can you treat everyone the same and envy you for that.
